What does sponsorship mean at the SYSTER Project?

Sponsorships are annual partnerships that provide discretionary support for SYSTER Project programs. Unlike donations, sponsorships include defined public recognition benefits and help sustain our communications, outreach, and community-centered initiatives.

How are sponsorships different from donations?

Donations support our mission without recognition benefits and may be unrestricted or restricted. Sponsorships include acknowledgment through our website, newsletter, and select digital platforms, based on the sponsorship level.

Who can become a sponsor?

Businesses, organizations, institutions, and individuals who share our commitment to empowering women, youth, and communities are welcome to become sponsors.

What do sponsors receive in return?

Sponsors receive public recognition through digital platforms, which may include:
  • Website logo or name placement
  • Newsletter acknowledgment
  • Hyperlinked logos for select sponsorship levels
  • Limited social media recognition for higher-tier sponsors
All benefits are clearly defined and time-bound.

Are sponsorship benefits provided year-round?

Yes. Sponsorship recognition is valid for one (1) year from the date of payment unless otherwise stated.

Do you offer physical promotional items or merchandise?

No. To ensure sustainability and consistency, all sponsorship benefits are digital. We do not provide merchandise, product placement, or physical promotional materials.

How are sponsor logos and links managed?

Hyperlinks are reviewed monthly. Inactive, broken, or inappropriate links may be removed to protect our audience and organizational integrity.

Can sponsors promote their products or services to program participants?

No. Sponsorship does not include direct marketing to program participants or endorsement of products or services.

Is sponsorship tax-deductible?

Sponsorship contributions may be partially tax-deductible depending on the recognition benefits provided. Sponsors should consult their tax advisor. A receipt acknowledging the sponsorship will be provided.

Can sponsorships lead to deeper partnerships?

Yes. Many sponsors later support events, special initiatives, or grant-based collaborations. Sponsorship is often the first step in a long-term partnership.
